hi all, i'm helping my friend to build a new pc. tigerdirect.com is having great deals on barebone systems but my problem is i don't know which one to get. here's their links http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2881248&Sku=A455-2124 C http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=2353753&sku=I69-2132 and i want to know which cpu is better e6600 or amd fx 60 and i want it to run sli also. thanks in advance peace
one link is only for a intel mb. i bought a barebone from tiger and when it was all said and done i had a 2.93 intel celeron cpu, d865perl mb, 512ram, 350 power supply and a ultra midtower case for 139.99 after rebates. the one link that is a barebone kit is pretty good. i would keep looking and see what you can find. if you dont mind waiting for rebates you can get excellent deals. put up the other link and i will check it out.
sory about the wrong link hers th right link and some other good deals and here the right link ro the e6600 what do you think? peace
The second link is better, though you can't run SLI (or Crossfire) as it only has 1 PCI-E x16 slot. The Other link (with the FX-60) is s939 so there is absolutely no upgrade path. Not to metion the E6600 is better than the FX-60. (I think, someone confirm/correct me?)
