Sometimes I need subs on my vcd's, with films like "crouching tiger, Hidden dragon" etc. Tried the "vcd with permanent subtitles" -guide om afterdawn.com, but the film got all fu**ed up when I played it in my dvd-player. I think bitrate is the problem. The program, "dvd2svcd" (described in the guide), doesn't let you choose constant bitrate (at least i couldn't find a way), but sets the bitrate depending on the length of the film. It seems like my dvd-player can't handle vcd's with too high bitrate. (maybe i'm all wrong) Anyway.... Someone who know about a better way to do this? I need something whith great picture-quality. (not programs like "dvdx") I've tried Flask mpg, but it couldn't find my cce plugin. Don't know why... Please help!
