Ok, I'm a complete newbie at this. I did back up a few movies to my PSP a long time ago. But I am trying to back them up on rewriteable DVD's now. I even bought blank DL DVD's to make this easier. But I am having problems.

    1. First of all, I successfully backed up a dvd movie to my harddrive as an ISO file. I tried burning it on a blank DVD and it gave me several lines of error codes. I don't know why! It gave me this code when I try to burn it on a DL DVD:
    I/O Error!

    Device [1:0:0] QSI DVD+-RW SDW-082 LX34 (E:) (ATA)

    SciStatus: 0x002
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 0 - 31

    Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0B 00 00 00 00 57 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
    Interpretation: Unable to Recover TOC

    2. Then I tried backing up a different dvd just to test it out and it does not let me back it up to the harddrive at all. It gives me this error:

Unable to create, replace or append to file:

    C:\\***.ISO

    Reason: Access is denied.

I have the latest DVD Decrypter and ImgBurn but I still have the same results!

Can anyone help me? I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks!

i think means another software still had hold of the file and you were ripping to same location and file, so it basically wouldnt over write it, rip to a different folder or empty it out fist???

try updating your firmware use imgburn = TOOLS / DRIVE / Check for FIRMWARE updates...

whats the id code from the discs you are useing

also use VERBATIM +DL and booktype to dvd-rom with imgburn if your drive allows it -DL very picky
