Need help with Virtual Dub and VOB

    For some reson the VOB is not coming up as a filter choice in the Virtual Dub filter list can someone help me?

    VirtualDub saves files in AVI format.
    It does not convert/save to mpeg (vob).

    Then can u tell me how to fix the problem?

    I'm trying to add subtitles to an avi using the VOB, theirs a guide that says that u can use the VOB as a filter with Virtual Dub

    You mean 'VOBSub'?
    When you install/setup VOBSub, expand 'Plugins' to select "Vobsub for VirtualDub" and "TextSub for VirtualDub".
    You then show VOBSub the folder where VirtualDub is located.
    When you now run VDub and select 'Filters', the choice becomes available.
