Need help, won't turn on

    Hello my Ipod Video(30gb) will not charge i plug it into the wall and the screen stays black, if i plug it in USB it will flash white, is this a battery problem or the firmware?

    Pls reply ASAP

    Try restoring your iPod back to factory condition and see if this helps.

    I dont actualy have it yet i am considering purchasing it and need to know if it is fixable before purchase.

    Tell whoever your buying it from to restore it for you.

    you can charge through usb port or ipod dock.

    USB port didnt work it just causes the screen to flash

    Try my suggestion (restore it). If this doesn't work it may be a hardware problem that you will need to have Apple take a look at.
