    Hi Guys,

i ordered a fliptop for my mate a few days ago and eventually came today.

Lo and behold (i have done 1 fliptop before where the reset and power switch was attatched to the top case)

when i took his top cover off it came right off no cables attatched i thought sweet this will be a piece of cake.

basically i ordered a fliptop for a version 4-8 ps2 so what version is his?cover comes completely off nothing attatched?

any help or advice appreciated guys

    Graham

One other thing when the flip top lid is on should you be able to operate the tray door as normal or just use the fliptop bit for everything?

    cheers

you should be able to use the tray draw as normal, if it's catching try loosening/tightening the screws that hold it together a bit
