Okay, So My Friend softmodded my Xbox and i guess took off my msdash because when i try to go on halo 2 live it tries to get the update but the screen just goes black and when i try to load the msdash its says this file does not exist. What can I do to Fix IT Ill Admit im a NOOB. And Also I want to be able to play a ps 1 game on my XBOX just one though but i dont know what to do?
well what i would do is burn the game onto your hdd using an app called dvd2xbox then go to where ever u saved the game and delete the dashboard update.xbe and the rest of the xbe's except for the default.xbe one. that should solve your problem
If it will load a burned DVD you can just get an auto installer disc like AID 3.0 and install the MS Dash ithas on the disc, along with a lot of other great programs.
