Need to convert *.mpg to DivX

Does anyone know how to make AutoGK convert *mpg to DivX and not XviD? My DVD player won't play XviD.

Or does anyone know any easy to use freeware converter other than AutoGK.

If it can handle DivX, then it can handle Xvid. You just need to change the FourCC from XVID to DX50.

type "change fourcc" into Google? Tell a man how to change a fourcc, help him once. Show him how to find things out, help him for life!

 

Mpeg Mediator SE will convert to DivX quickly and easily.

 

Xvid4PSP, great program that started out as a converter for the PSP, but has grown to a very versatile program that supports many different video formats. Truley one of my favorite programs.
