Nero 6 or Nero 7?

    I am having a problem burning avi files because Nero 6 it says that MPEG-4 has expired and I need to upgrade to the latest version. I badly need to burn avi files, do I really have to upgrade to Nero 7?

    IF I do upgrade, should I uninstall 6 first before installing 7?

    If i remember correctly, it will more than likely prompt you to do so or automatically do it for you. Also from what i have been reading there might be an nero 8 out or on the way very soon
