Hi there! I just purchased nero 6 ultra, and want to use it to rip my audio CD's to digital files... i have a brand new laptop (so plenty of room, etc.) and want to know - what is the best method - should i rip the tracks to mpeg-4 video files or just rip them to mp3? i heard that mpeg-4 allows for good quality and smaller file size for audio, but nero rips it to mpeg4 video (even tho its an audio cd) and the file size is huge...any advice for the best setup? PS i want to digitize about 200 CDs to cut down on clutter.
Thank you in advance for your advice. Cheers ;)

I'm not really sure that nero would be the best or easiest way to rip CDs. What you want to do is download Exact Audio Copy (free), and LAME mp3 plugin. You can find all the info on how to install and configure EAC here:

This is the best and highest quality way to rip CDs to mp3. Once its set up its very easy to use. Good luck
