i am using nero 7 to burn my dvds and cds, but all of a sudden i cant add audio files to a project.i get a message saying that the file could be added if the relevent plug-in is installed. iv`e just reinstalled nero and as far as im aware all the plug=ins are there. i also used to drag files from windows media 11 but that has stoped working as well. i need help.
have you looked in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins to see if the audio codec are there
there are various plugins there. don`t really know what im looking for though. the files i`m trying to burn are mp3 and there is a mp3 plugin there.
very odd now let see if the path to the files in nero is right 1.launch nero 2.then in the top bar, files options, then a windows pops up you should see a tab with audio plug-in that should read C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins\ let me no
sorry for the late reply toduk. wasn`t being rude i was just a bit buisy.i`ve managed to get nero to work if i add files from a specific folder, but oddly that folder now doesnt work woth windows media player 11.hmm. when i do step 1 of your instructions and start nero from my desktop, it goes streight to the program screen and i don`t get a top bar. stay classy.
this is very odd the one thing i can now think of is to install a codec pack try a codec pack form free-Codecs.com no Problems with me with the late reply just hope we can get this to work for you
