I have set the Aspect Ratio to 4:3 in Vision yet the final product is always burned as 16:9. Will Vision not convert a 16:9(wide-screen) DVD to a 4:3 copy? If so, what else do I need to do to make this happen?
I've tried 1x or 2x to change the aspect ratio w/ Vision and it didn't make it full screen either. I prefer widescreen though for some reason. Anyhow here's 2 options. Have Nero save to a hard drive folder then use VobBlanker (free) to change the aspect ration. Right click on each of the movie files and pick 'video attrib' - change the aspect ratio to 4:3. I tried this way and it did a good job - not totally full screen but pretty close. link. Then burn those files from vobblanker w/ Nero burning rom or express Or try DivXtoDVD - also free. Convert the file with DivXtoDVD - pick 'force 4:3' under aspect ration. When done - again just burn w/ Nero. Haven't tried this way so may or may not work. link
