nero back it up

    here i have backed up my friends old windows 98 on 3 dvds in the pic is a picture of the files of the first backup dvd . how do i get these disks to work if there is loss of data ? do i mount the image . i view them in xp and here is whaT I get

    If you have a complete crash, you're supposed to have a bootable disk created by Backitup. I suspect the wizard is the nrestore.exe file on the disk.

    but those 3 disks where they made wrong ? how do i get some info out of those files. could i just run the nrestore.exe . thanks :)

    Just run the Nero Backitup program unless the program is no longer installed. It has a wizard that'll access the files, allow for searching the backed up files, etc. Otherwise try the NRESTORE.EXE executable on the disk and see what happens.

    It is a little strange all the .msg files are in different languages... They may be instructions.
