    Hi,
i Have Recently got into to the wii due to the fact there are no new ps3 games out lol, i have chip my wii it to play backups but when burning an image with nero 7 ultimate, it will only let me select x6 as the slowest speed? i wanted to burn a x4 as i herd this was a good speed to burn at.

my burner is a lite on shw-163s02c and im using

    (sony dvd-r Accucore x16)

can any one tell me how to change this or is this due to the image that wasnt riped by me. can the rip affect this? i would be greatful if any one can answer my questions?

    Cheers all...

Generally, burning programs list all the burn speeds available for a particular media based on the burning strategies and speeds available in the burner's firmware when that media is in the burner. To double check this, fire up DVD Decrypter or ImgBurn in Write mode and place a blank in the selected burner. The supported write speeds will be listed in the righthand column.

See if ImgBurn will allow you to burn at a slower speed if 4X is supported.
