After burning a successful VCD and after waiting about a hour for the Nero Encoder to re-encode it before burning, I realized a possible problem. Is there any way I could save the encoded file it creates? So that if I burn the same thing again, I dont have to wait through the encoding process for another hour? Also... with VCD burns - will burn speed affect the playback? I prefer to use the 16x speed. My writer will even write DVDs at 16x. By the way if it matters, Im using Nero 6.3.0.2 and an ASUS DRW-1612BL
Just copy the copy you made, with Nero Express. No need for it to be recoded. You got a finished product on a disc; just copy it.
