I am having problems burning any DVD. I know I am not using the best DVD's but I have not had any problems up until now. My error log is below. I have tried everything that I have seen on other posts. I have also tried burning at different speeds. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. I have been burning at 4x, but since that was not working I tried 8x. I know these are not good DVD's but I have them left and I was wanting to use them up. How do I enable DMA. I don't what happened. Last week everything worked perfect and now I can not even start to burn a DVD. Thanks.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/260038 Use search function at top of this page - can often be useful - type 'enable dma' - many results - useful link attached.
Thanks for the help. I tried this and it still does not help. I get an error as soon as I try to start burning the dvd. Any other suggestions?
I have tried different media and I still get the same result. Process failed. I have also notice my drive will not even recognize DVD-R now. I have unistalled the driver and let windows detect it. I have made sure that DMA in enabled, and my firmware is up to date. Any other suggestions? Could my drive be going out?
