    Hello,

I'm using Nero 7 and Vista and when I try to recode DVD movie I get to the last section where you choose which drive to burn to but when I click to burn it gives me a warning message saying "Please enter valid target folder" and won't let me burn the selected files. I've tried uninstalling Nero and reinstalling. Getting the same message. I've checked the drive and there doesn't appear to be any errors or problems with it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds as though you are entering an invalid path or invalid folder/file name.

You could also try using the Image Recorder for DVD files and then burning the image if something else is amiss.

Thats what I thought but I checked the source path which was fine and I can only burn to drive D: so its the only drive option available and I have tried the image recorder but I got the same message

So you weren't trying to save a folder of video files and Nero just choked at the time to burn to drive D:?

Thats correct. I used DVD Decrypter to get the files and used nero recode to try and burn them to disc. It just choked with that error.

I've been using it for ages and this happened last night for the first time.

    Success!

Thanks very much laddyboy. Worked a treat and it's now burning as normal.

    Many thanks.
