I am having trouble converting my avi to dvd using Nero Vision. I started the job and everything is going fine then the video displayed in the top right freezes and the current progress stops.
I know Nero Vision isn't freezed because the total progress elapsed time continues second by second
    Can someone help me?

    Hi ballaz
What version of Nero are you using? Like 6.6.0.18 or 7.5.0.9

Is it just this avi or does it happen to all that you do?

Hmmm if it plays fine then something w/ this file Nero doesn't like.

You can try another program and see how they make out w/ it.
The 1st 2 have trials and the last one is free
ConvertXtoDVD (the trial will leave a watermark)
WinAVI (not sure if leaves a watermark)
    Avi2DVD

i have just used convertxtodvd and it worked perfectly. Then i used Nero Burning ROM to burn the files and when i play it in a dvd player the picture is scrambled but the audio is fine. I already tried slowing down the speed.
    can someone please help?

Try playing it back in the pc - does it play back fine there?

Sounds like it may be in PAL format and your in NTSC (or vice versa).

Here's a link to the a page in a ConvertX guide for changing that.
