I got nero on my new computer a couple of days ago and when I burn a dvd the bruning goes fine until lead-out and it just stays there forever. I can't click cancel or eject the dvd. Any Solutions?
I've tried many different types of media. Plus on my other computer nero works with the media I'm using.
I've contacted Nero tech support with the same problem. The program hangs at lead out and locks up the drive too. The only way to get the dvd out is to reboot. When I hear back from Nero, I'll post their comments. Rick
You may want to make sure that the firmware is right. Also try use other burn programs (e.g. Decrypter) to see if it's any better. Good luck!
What program are you using to create/Burn the DVD? Are you using Nero Vision Express to create a DVD? Are you using Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM to copy a DVD? Is the source file a Video_TS folder? If so, how was it created? Do you have the latest Nero 6.6.0.6 and NVE3.0.1.27? Do you have the latest firmware for your model recorder? If you are using Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM, are you able to write to an Image Recorder without it hanging up? If you are using Nero Vision Express, are you able to write it to the Hard Drive as Video_TS folder without it hanging up? Regards, Craig Nero Inc USA
Craig, I'm using Nero Burning Rom version 6.6.0.6 to burn Cdr's. I'm using a Sony DVD RW DRU-710A as a burner (it came bundled with Nero 6.3 - but I'm using the updated Retail Oem version I purchased many months ago) The Sony burner is new and haven't tried using my old burner (TDK CDRW241040X) which never had this problem. I've disabled the make shorter lead out option, and about every 12 burns or so, it hangs. I also had a Nero Vision problem that was fixed by reinstalling Microsoft's DirectX 9.0c, maybe that will solve this problem too. I'll burn some more stuff and post back. Thanks,
