Ripped using DVD Decrypter. Re-authored using Shrink. Now i'm ready to burn. However, Nero (version 5.5.10.56) doesnt recognize my drive when i go to burn. The only option i recieve is "Image recorder" which subsequently put the files on my hard drive, not my blank media. The drive is a new NEC3500a dvd-rw. I dont know if it makes a difference, but i recieved Nero Express with my old Lite-on Cd-RW drive that i purchased last year, and that is the program i am trying to use. I'm just hoping i don't need to go out and buy version 6... Thanks, Andrew
Hey there Andrew, Sorry Buddy, Nero 5.5 won't play with the New DVD Shrink. Your choices are: 1. Upgrade to Nero 6, (Well worth it if for nothing else other than recode 2) 2. Burn using DVD Decrypter. Using the settings in DVD Shrink "Backup" page (and remembering to uncheck the "Burn with Nero" in "Edit", "Preferences" in the "I/O" tab) can make Decrypter do it in the "automatic mode" AND the price is right. Me, I'd chose upgrading to Nero 6. Cheers, Pete
