Nero is a good enough program when It comes to backing up my dvd collection, its backed up my collection of 70 or so dvds with only minor glitches here and there and the glitches probably had more to do with faulty dvds than anything else. but when I try to get my home movies on the dvd things get a little messed up, like ill put some footage i shot on the comp, edit it together then ill try to burn a dvd video and it always ends up a little jumpy, ive tried to resolve this but nothing seems to work, I know this is a nero forum, but is there just some other Dvd burning program that i should try? whats second best after nero? thanks Panth
Hello. Hopefully you're limiting your burn speed to 8X or so or half the rated speed of the media. While bad burning might be the cause, other things might be the cause as well. What was the original media source for your home movies? How did you get the home movies onto your hard drive? Did you try playing the edited files on your hard disk before burning to make sure they played OK? You can use the Nero Image Recorder to create an image file that can be burned with ImgBurn, DVD Decrypter, or other programs. You can also create a folder of video files on your hard disk and burn those with ImgBurn. ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com DVD Decrypter: http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/
