I think AD needs a faq.

Well, for starters, what media are you using, and what dvd player do you have?

(Let's see, we do have a list of forum rules, which you appear not to have read, or if you read them, chose not to follow, specifically rule #7.)

DVD Players usually only play disc's that follow certain standards.
    Glossary
    http://www.afterdawn.com/glossary/
    See DVD-Video, VCD, SVCD, XVCD, DVD-VCD, DVD-SVCD, DVD-MP3, etc.
Some new DVD players can alsp play disc's that just contain files with these types, but it depends on the particular player.
MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX or Xvid AVI, WMV, WMA

See this on how to make disc's that follow those standards.

Yes you can make these types of disc's with Nero. See the descriptions in Nero SmartStart.
Check out the manuals, which you may have to download separately, the online help, and help files for each Nero application.
