When I try to recode video files to ready them for burning to a dvd, the video in nerovision is blurry. When I play the same video in a different player, it is fine. Any ideas on what I can do?
Which version of Nero are you using? Some versions are better then others when it comes to Vision. Since you can play the video fine in another player then it looks like Nero may not be the best choice for the file. Give another one a try - DivXtoDVD. Free and is the little bro of ConvertXToDVD. You can burn the files from divxtodvd w/ Nero Burning Rom or Express.
Sorry should have been a little more specific on the Nero version question. The latest right now is 7.8.5.0 - if you're not using that one give it a go. 1st though I'd try DivXtoDVD and see if that shows the same problem with the video being fuzzy. If it doesn't then you know the problem is with Vision. Vision just doesn't seem to handle the different avi's as well as some other programs do. Keep us posted!
