    Hi I am havin problems neworking my x box to my pc.
    i am using the hub method, and i know that my pc is readind the x box because when I go to Network Connections both 1394 and Local Area Connections are reading it.

    (i dont think 1349 reads it right because it says its reading it at 400 mps!!! and has network details)

    But im positive that local area connection isreading it right because its reading at 100mps and has nework details.

    Ok my x box has
    -an xecuter 2.3b lite chip
    -xecuter 4980.06 bios
    -standard hdd
    -evox 3935 dash (on disk only)

    ok on network settings/info i get

    TYPE= (this is blank)
    IP=0.0.0.0
    Line status=100/Full Duplex
    Ethernet MAC address=00:50:F2:67:74:84
    Setup Network=yes
    Use static IP=yes
    IP=192.168.100.10
    Subnetmask=255.255.255.0
    DefautGateway=192.168.100.1
    DNS=0.0.0.0
    DNS=0.0.0.0
    Setup Delay=0
    Skip Setup If No Disk=no

    Ok now the problem comes when i want to use FlashFxp.
    I open it up click quick connect type in 192.168.100.10

    It says "no host"
    I disabled 1349 (thinking it might be effecting the connection) but that did not help.

    Then I looked at the details on local area connection and the IP says 169.254.44.227

    so I tried to type that in and it did seem to work at first(it actually says connecting)but then it says
    "connection timed out"

    Can someone please help, do I need some other program if so where should i download?

    p.s
    FTP=yes
    PASSWORD=xbox
    so dont think thats the prob:)

    Maybe your hub is using Dynamic IP so that would be the problem. If you can try to put your hub in Static IP or try setting your xbox to Use Static IP=no

    yeah now something really screawed up is happenin.
    my pc is readin 0.0.0.0 from the hub and my xbox is readin 192.168.100.10 (ITSELF!!!) this really is just gettin confusin.

    well 50% of the time my x box reads 0.0.0.0
    when that happens my pc reads 169.254.44.227

    and the other 50% my x box reads 192.168.100.10
    when that happens my pc reads 0.0.0.0

    I dunno what the hell is goin on

    plus what the hell does it mean when it says "conection timed out" ????????
