Yo, I've got a Sony NW-E95 network walkman and it has 512 mb space.the problem is that it gets easily full.I can put around 60 songs on it and as far as i see it cant transfer the mp3 files as they are.it converts it to atrac3plus or atrac3 depends on what i choose but i heard atrac3plus offers better sound quality and it's better compressed.Do you guys also know how big the diff. of the sound quality would be if i choose a smaller bitrate than 256 kb, e.g. 48kb?

You can get away with 96kbps. This is considered CD quality.

uh, no way is 96k considered CD quality. 192 to 256k VBR LAME is about the highest quality mp3s you can create, and they're still not quite CD quality. Using for your portable walkman, fine, you won't need that good of quality anyways, but CD quality and mp3 just should not be used in the same sentence.
