I would appreciate your help as most info found on the forum is dated.
Brand new slim PS2 modded with Matrix Infinity, plays perfectly all backed up disks. Is there any way of playing games out of a USB hard disk without Swap Magic? Is the Unofficial PS2 Guide found in this forum still valid? Do I need HD Loader or HD Advance and what is the sequence of instalation?
    Many thanks

I am no expert, but from what I have read you can put the HD loader exploit onto your memory card. People at this forum should no about that

I know there are exploits if you have that program on your memory card and play certain PS1 games, since the Ps2 checks the memory card first when running PS1 games.

Updated: I was looking through the forum and found this http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/109289
I think this is what you are looking for.

No problem. Like I said though I am no expert in it, this is jsut from what I have learned through my research I haven't actually done it myself. So it may be wrong, but I think it is right.
