    Hi,
I just got a new but used SW white slim PSP off of ebay, the suckers sold it
as broken when all they had to do is recover flash.
(well the UMD cover is broken)

    My gain thier loss.

Anyways, the previous owner has the parental controls set ,
I need to find a way to reset the 4 digit password, any help?

    OFW original firmware version 3.60

    Any help would be great.
I did a search first, and didn't find anything but the CFW stuff.
    Nothing on OFW lost passwords.

Still waiting on my memstick in mail.

    Thanks.

    I haven't downgraded it yet!

    Ok I feel dumb.

I found out in the manual (which is written by elves)
That you have to restore defaults, then the password returns to factory default, 0000.

I guess I should have figured that out. Duh!

But at least this thread will be here if anyone else gets dumb.
    lol. :)>)
