I just accidently got water on my 17" monitor and now it doesn't turn on because the water landed on the front buttons, what should i do get it repaired or get a new monitor or let it dry out?. Help! (also very low on cash so don't want to buy a new monitor.)

if it was on at the time you might need a new one, sorry. if it wasn't you could try letting it dry out (open up the case as much as pos and keep it warn) and then try switching it on after a day or so, this might work. if it had anything in the water (tea coffee sugar) or it was any kind of soda its not likly to work again.

you could try a local repair shop and ask them to try to fix it.

ive had friends who droped cell phones into puddles and what they did was leave it off for a few days and let it dry out then it worked fine, maybe that would work for you too.
