Can anyone help me. My LAP-TOP (windows wo'nt open my STARVIEW bin file. What do i have to do. Please explain .

 

don't open the .bin you need gtrom loader (fist link at the bottom of my post)use gtrom loader to load the firmware to your box.

I have the GTRom , but how do i put the starview bin file into it.
In the GTRom there is a box for bin file, what do i do.......

 

when you click on bin file it will leave you at the directory just look for the place you saved v4 to.once you find it click on it you will go back to the gtrom loader main box press download.it will get to 100% and say at that for 10-30secs just wait.
and thats the box flashed if you need any more help just leave a post.

hi my sv is saying no single and its a clone on 257e and i am in dublin and emu is on also codes are ok

No signal normaly means that your cables are in wrong !(double check them )
U say u have a clone. If you wannt to upgrade the firmware, only use the new 257e fix!for clones

That has happend to me,, NO SIGNAL... Could be that your cable provider is down, check it.......... out..

 

my one is down today,my child clicked factory reset by mistake,however i autmotically scanned and got channels bak but they are not working.i entered the new codes but nothing is happening.Im from Ireland,dublin by the way

 

Menu 1570 and check the EMU key is ON

 

HI, MATE.

I think the best thing to do is, TO GO INTO main menu and select factory setting, then enter the correct password...Then start all over again... I mean just as if you have , the box for the first time. You should be ok, once you do this......

When i say start all over again, erase everything / delate everything...........

My box has lost all channels. The picture looked like the stations were scrambled then i lost the picture all together. Im on N*L and i live in Dublin. Has anyone got any ides how to fix this??

Thats happening to quite alot of people, including mine. I think its the sh**ty weather ...Its not your box !

codes havnt gone down m8 . what does it say on ur tv ?

 

do i need new codes or is it just the weather that is making the box go mad. keeps coming up scrambled or bad channel and it will come back in again
