PLEASE don't muddy my water! I just want this thread to stay on topic of a "new" MKV (20GB) to Blu-Ray with no loss of quality at all. I read many of the pages in the stickied thread (PS3 compatible video creation thread... mkv2vob, tsMuxeR etc.. ) about using tsmuxer. I managed to follow them, got all the output files as expected. File played on my computer fine... not so on the PS3. The PS3 had audio but no video. In that thread RYU77 had mentioned that he uploaded the new meGUI with profiles that could handle the MKV structure. However, that link is DEAD... Stupid internet! lol I did all the right things, change the UDF 2.5, in tsmuxer the profile was 4.1High. This is not about some conversion setting -- this is about the MKV's are different (I believe). I checked multiple guides to double check my work. I would like to find (or contribute to creating) a MKV to Blu-Ray guide that has the 'new' MKV's in scope. So far I am down 2 blu-ray disks and ALOT of hours ... (yes, I finally bought a re-writable disk, but money is tight so it's only 2x which is PAINFULLY SLOW... mostly overnight operations... feels like I am BBS'ing again!) Thanks in advance!
