Dear gzan, Since your burner can accept a variety of disc formats, you may want to try other formats than +RW first to see if it actually works. If burning is successful with non RW discs, then you may be having an odd problem that some of us (including myself) had experienced: "Insert empty disc to write to. (Medium in drive: DVD+RW. Medium required by compilation: DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R9 Double Layer.) This disc is not empty." Some time ago I burned with Nero using a brand new formatted -RW. Nero said the disc was not empty (odd). More, while Nero could usually erase a non-empty disc before burning, this time it said the brand new disc was not empty AND rejected it. Finally, I used the erase function of Alcohol120 to erase the disc (which should be very clean to begin with) before I could use it for burning. So if you're in a similar situation, maybe you can try Alcohol120. Good luck!
