Newbie having black screen problem =[

    I have used the search to search for the problem but none of them helped me. so the problem is that when i run the burned NTSC game (usa dragon ball Z), my NTSC wii (jap one and modded too) allows me to start it then the screen turns black.. so what is happening? isnt NTSC game works with NTSC wii? please help, thanks

    There are two versions of NTSC- NTSC/U and NTSC/J.

    Did you put any patch on the game?

    I had the same problem with Metroid Prime.

    I patched it worng, and had the same results.

    Ihad to get rid of the iso I had.

    I extracted the game again, and put in the right patch.

    After that it worked!

    what this is patch thingy? can someone expand on that?

    it is a NTSC-J wii and NTSC-U game =O

    Yeah we can read. Look for RegionFrii for the patcher.
