Hello everyone! I know this is probally posted like 1,000 times on this forum. But I'm going to ask anyway. Ok, I have a PS2 (slim)(v.12) and I am thinking about buying a EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE to copy all or most of my games onto it. What is the best way to handle a v.12 PS2 and a External Hard Drive. I don't really care about copying rates. Everytime I find something that would work, everyone says it sucks or something like that. Please If anyone can help me. Thanks in advance!

Just get the hard drive and USB Extreme and your set.

The reason people say it sucks is that compared to an internal it does. It has slower loading times, the game compatibility is also not that great. But if that is what you want then go for it.

If you happen to have extra money you could have your V12 put into an HD Combo case with an internal hard drive which would have 3 big advantages.
    1. fast loading times (faster than external or a DVD)
    2. better game compatibility
    3. dual fans to help a lot with the V12 heat issues

1 disadvantage, it costs a lot to get this done.
