you need to do a lot of reading my friend...i reccommend www.worldxbox.co.uk

there is an absolute wealth of information on there that is invaluable to you...

the best media is without doubt ritek ridisc GO4 4 SPEED
i use the purple top ones, but the printables work just fine.

THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU NEED TO KNOW IS THE BURN SPEED...I BURN AT 2 SPEED DO NOT BURN ANY FASTER THAN THIS. IF YOUR DRIVE SUPPORTS 1 SPEED THEN BURN AT 1 SPEED.

if you live in the UK i can give you a link to get them for 17.9p each and very reasonable postage.

Ya know I dont see why everyone says you have to burn them at the lowest speed. I always use 8x and I have no problems what so ever. I have a brand new external sony dvd burner and use tdk dvd+r. Every dvd and every game gets burned at 8x with no problems.

gotta chip your xbox or use a cdrw so that you can burn it as a music cd put it in and rip it w/ the slow @$$ xbox media...

If your xbox is chiped it will play any type of media that you can get your hands on. I play .avi files .mpeg files and .wma files all the time... Throw 10 full lengh movies from .avi onto one dvd-r and you got your self a night lol
