Hi i would like to know about a few question

    (i) If i had a DVD-R disc, can i use my dvd burner and instead of burning to a DVD-r disc, to a DVD+R blank disc instead?

(ii) i saw from somewhere that if a DVD is dualed layer, u cant copy and burn the disc into DVD -/+ R blank disc. Is it true?

Yes, as long as the burner you are using can burn both - and +, then you can burn any dvd to whatever format you like.

Yes and no. In order to copy a dual layer disc in its entirety to a single layer disc you have to compress it.
