Hi all, my questions may seem pretty trivial, but i have never made a backup of any of my PS2 games & am wondering how to do it..

would i use a cd or dvd to make the backup?
what software would i need ?
would i need to rip it or compress it like a movie?
could i save it to my HD first then make the backup?
what speed would i need to burn at for best results?
what would be the best media to use?

any help regarding my questions would be greatly appreciated..thanks in advance

"would i use a cd or dvd to make the backup? "
CD for CD games DVD for DVD games.

"what software would i need ?"
Nero will do the job as well as several others

"would i need to rip it or compress it like a movie?"
    98% of games NO

"could i save it to my HD first then make the backup?"
There really no other safe way.

"what speed would i need to burn at for best results?"
The slowest your burner will burn

"what would be the best media to use"
I've had the best luck with Vernatium datelife -r's, but have also used TDK and Memorex.

There are a lot of FAQ on this that will go into much beeter detal on how to do all this.
