I just updated all of my NERO 6 software to the latest version (January, '05), and is it my imagination or what? In NEROVISION, the time for encoding my MPEG movie files has tripled (sometimes quadrupled)over that needed in pre-update versions?? A standard MPEG movie file might take as long as SIX or NINE hours!! Seems, too, that the movie preview in NeroVision has become choppy. What's going on? I also have noticed many more quirks in NERO RECODE (updated). Lots of burn errors rendering the DVD useless--so many problems, in fact, that I have resorted to DVD-SHRINK to be safe. Any help or suggestions are appreciated!! I have always depended upon Nero to get the job done--but HOLY SMOKES (or BURNS)!!
