Ok, I went and trusted that your upgrade/new release would be ok and since installing over the top of my old existing install, now, my player says can't play disc. I've successfully burned two discs when required, but when I selected your newest option of record movie WITH menu, it won't play. Now what? Also, you stated in your email notification of the new release : We recommend that you use rewritable disks (DVD+RW or DVD-RW depending on your burner type) if you want to choose anything other than Start normal Mine only works with dvd-r's and not -rw's unless I use a player that will accomodate this function. Does this mean you've changed this now beyond use? How can I get this back to the at least somewhat manageable first version I bought? Rick
