I can FTP to my xbox, but the games and apps folders that everyone talks about are nowhere to be found. Any help?

i had the same problem but i just went into the ftp and then i right clicked and pressed create new folder then put

    apps - for applications

    make another and put

    games - well you know

and make another and call it

    emus - for emulators

as long as they are under the E: drive it should work fine because mine did

Even then, nothing shows up in my evox dashboard. What type do the files that i am transferring have to be in? Such as, emulators, games, and other apps?

ohh ok its not showing up in you dash..

well then thats a horrible installer that you used..i have attempted to soft mod many many times through action replay and people mess with them and make some of them lame by deleting some options on it.

so what you should do is uninstall the softmod and delete the installer off you xbox then do the same process again to softmod it and just use a different installer

look at the tutorial in my signature and it will take you to my tut and it tells you what the size of the file should be around.

    you should have everything there...

let me know if your problem is fixed or need some additional help

Well I just got DVD2Xbox installed and it shows up and the reason it didn't work earlier was because the file i was using was missing the default.xbe file. Is this what could've been wrong with my emulators?

anything u want to show up in an apps games or emulators folder has to have a default.xbe in the main folder.

do you not have to edit the evox.ini to get things added to the dash menu?
