    Hey guys. Im a bit new to this but my problem is i have gone through the guides here and converted an avi file to dvd.

    After converting it with TMPGenc i then use IFOEdit to author it, after it does its multiplexing thing ive burned it to DVD using Nero.

    The problem is the video plays fine but there is no audio.

    After converting there is the required mv2 and mp2 files. I have been through the process once before and had no problems.

    Using AVICodec this is what it tels me;
    Audio : 25 MB, 115 Kbps, 48000 Hz, 2 channels, 0x55 = MPEG Layer-3, Supported

    Maybe there is a setting during the conversion process that i need to change or something?? anyone got any ideas as too why there is no audio.

    I can run the avi file from my hard drive and it has audio.
    If i try and run the mp2 file after the conversion process it opens in winamp but there is no audio then?

    Thanks in advance

    Tony

    Ok fixed it by decompressing file first
