    Ok,

I have an old JVC XV-511 DVD player that works really fine (until now?). I recently burnt a VCD and was able to watch it. Now that I try to watch some legit DVDs, there's simply no audio anymore. None of my regular DVDs play audio anymore. But if I put back that VCD, audio plays fine!!!

What is happening with this? Is my player all messed up or what? I tried everything I could imagine, including unplugging and replugging several times...

Anyone knows what's going on? thanks...

What do you mean? It's a standalone DVD player? How would you reinstall that? Unplug and plug again? Already tried and still no sound when playing legit DVDs...

    Weird stuff.
