My psp has the latest 3.8 M33 custom firmware. I was just browsing around the psp main menu when this little window came up. I can't recall what was on it, some kind of firmware menue i think, I couldn't select anything so I turned off the psp.

The long and short of it is:
    A. I can turn on the psp and get to the main menue, but none of the keys work, the only ones that do anything is the volume and brightness buttons.
    B. I can get into the M33 recovery console fine.

    Thanks for any help.

Nevermind, with some help I figured out the problem. I discovered I accidentally fired up the VSH menu. I'm not sure how I did it lol

Here was the fix if anyone was curious.

Go to recovery => config => "Use extended VSH menu" (or something along those lines) => DISABLE => reboot => check
