check the backup guide on the top of the PS2 forum, there's a pic of a slide card and a description.

Trust me get a soldered chip. I know over 20 ppl who have them. My first one failed to chip and broke when I bought it. I thought I was 150 quid outta pocket but I discovered if I coloured the back of the warrenty sticker black it looked like it hadnt been opened. I got a nu Ps2 :)

a modchip doesn't f**k up your dvd player!!! not for dms3 if you upgrade to 1.6 so you can play dvd movies on default mode.
