is that all you see on the screen is no signal because if is & game appears to be still running because of flashing led's than your videocard might have died.

if you can still hear the game and there's no distortion in the sound, then yeah, you've maxed out your videocard. it probably overheated and needed to cut out for a bit. if it's *still* not working, the card is dead. time for a new one.

Thanks for the reply, but i also play Pro Evolution Soccer 6 and SWAT 4 and both of them all work without any problems, it is just on Rainbow Six Vegas where i encounter this problem, so could it still be the videocard?

check game site for patches, updates & faq especially in reference to your videocard.

if you've checked for patches, updates, etc, and found nothing, then try running the game on lowest settings and see if it happens again. if it does, the issues lies in the code somewhere. if it doesn't, then the game was somehow maxing your card out.

    hmmm...
and there were no update files for the game? i'd do a complete uninstallation, registry cleaning, defrag, etc etc and make sure *all* drivers on your PC are up to date, especially graphics. then, reinstall the game.
