I was ripping "kill bill volume 1" to my harddrive using "file" mode of DVDDecrypter, there was only sound for chapter 1 and the extras, no sound for the other chapters. I also tried using DVDFab, smart ripper and vstrip, all with the same result. I then tried using WMP to play it, and something about copyright came up and I couldn't play it. Help with the ripping please?

Have you tried using DvdDecryptor in the Mode-Iso-Read mode. That would create an .iso image that could be mounted in a virtual drive like Daemon Tools or Alcohol. Also it's easier to keep track of your movies since you only get 2 files this way instead of all the .bup's .vob's and .ifo's from file mode.

Plus if in the future you wanted to burn them u could use Shrink/Decryptor to compress/burn.

In general, DVDs have several audio channels, select other audio tracks to have a try. Or download xilisoft dvd ripper to try out.

In answer to your problem with Kill Bill. I just did Kill bill vol 1 & 2 this evening using DVD Shrink 3.2. Use open disk, once opened, clicked reauthor and drug just the main title over to the left side and then clicked backup. In the next window, you select the backup target. I selected ISO image file and burn with DVD Decryptor. Select the target image file. Brouwse and save it anywhere you want. I use a temp video folder on my desktop, then click OK. Once the Shrink software is done encoding, it opens up DVD Decryptor and you select where you want to burn to imabe to. Pick you drive and click on the burn icon at the bottom. When the burn window opens you have the option of verifying when done and deleting the image when done. Works pretty slick on most movies. Hope this helps. Love the fact that it just starts right into the movie. Sorry if this reply is long, i'm a newbie to this. Have been using DVD Xcopy Xpress up until now and just realized how poor the quality was compared to shrink and DVD Decryptor.
Let me know if it helps.
