I used shrink with no probs. Sounds like it might be in DTS(unless you have DTS). Can you pick the audio in the movie menu?

Just DVDShrink. I make a full movie copy. With the english track. I remove the french track and the english 2.1 track. It runs great, except, no sound.

OMG. I never even thought about that lol. I just tried it on my DVD player since it has 5.1 support and it works great. Thanks So much. Saved me from making another copy. I love this back up thing with DVDs. Originals are all scratched, takes forever to load and skips, but not the backups. lol. Thanks.

There must be something wrong with your sound card in the computer because it should play the sound weather it is 2CH or 5.1CH....

Can you hear sound from original DVD's in your DVD ROM?

I have the kard set for headphones. I took out the 2.1 english mode from the dvd. I guess it would work with 5.1 enabled. Works on my dvd. So im happy. Original works fine too. I bookmarked that site. Very useful.
