I run windows xp sp2. When I see movies in MPC I don't get audio. But, there is no problem in VLC. I have gone thro settings like switching on/off the internal audio switcher. I see the ffdshow video, audio and ac3 filter ikons pop up in task bar when I open any video file in mpc. I deleted and reinstalled also with no effect.
I searched in Realtek HD Audio Manager also for possible clues, but in vain. I use MPC mainly to find the audio shift and then to correct in other softwares.
Can I get help from anybody to solve this problem.
    Thanks.

VLC uses the j and k keys for the audio delay.
I don't know the MPC problem fix offhand.
