    Hi,

I've converted an AVI rip into MPEG 1 format using TMPGEnc. I used the video & audio option and 16:9 PAL mode.
The MPG file I created has no sound when I play it with Media Player. Anyone have any idea what's causing this problem??

Thnx in advance!! --- G}{0$T [QFL]

Your AVI had some "unstandard" audio, like AC3, which TMPGEnc can't convert. You need to first strip out the audio from AVI and decode it to WAV before you start encoding.

VirtualDub. Load the AVI and select Save WAV.
