I burned a couple of xvid files to vcd using nero 5.5 to view in my dvd player and there is quality picture and sound but it is upside down. So I re-encoded the files with TMPGenc and when I play them in Windows Media Player (to check quality before burning them) the picture is good but there is no sound. Does anyone know why this is? Will there be no audio when I burn to VCD? I'll take what i can get.PEACE

It is because the Audio in your AVI file is of a Format that is Not supported in Tmpgenc..You will need to extract the audio from your AVI file to Wav format useing something like Virtual-Dub then use the Wav audio as the audio source in Tmpgenc....Cheers
