No Video in Media Players

    I think I must have removed a file in error when I removed VLC Media Player from my system.
    None of my other media players will show video only audio.
    All idea most welcome.

    was the file in 2 diff parts originally ?? audio and video ??

    I have now found the problem, my video accelleration had become set too high.
